set design annual fashion show

Werkschau Mode is the climax for students of the fashion design department at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design. All students from the second year onwards showcase their collections to an audience of approximately 1500 people indoors and another 1000 at the live broadcast outdoors.
In cooperation with the fashion department, we annually set up a different set design for Werkschau. Focusing on different elements like lighting, sound, and choreography, we achieve a complete transformation of the traditional venue at Volkspark Halle. Impressing with a totally different storyline and creating varied scenes and atmospheres every year is a primary goal of the team.
In addition to the responsibility for set design, project management for the entire event is a key part of the job. The after-show party, featuring bands and DJs, is the kick-off event for the annual exhibition of Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design.
